Around the world at 20 Somethin'
My best friend from since high school called me, and convinced me to agree to a 2 1/2 weeks journey with her through Europe in Feb. "We gettin old gurt! We gotta do this now or never," she said. At first, I was a little upset with her because it was the ONLY time she could get off work, so I had to wrap up my work as fast as possible. I feel I always should be working, something I need to learn to let go of. In reality, it turned out to be one of the best thing that I've ever done for myself.
It was our last trip of our 20s, and now I'm about to embark on the journey of my 30s. My goal was to put up one video a day for the last year of my 20s and I allowed a negative energy to influence my ambition and stopped posting them. It was a little ambitious I will admit, but it was something I enjoyed and something I still film every day. The trip did make me feel a bit old, but it also made me see how much I've grown and how much I've learned. AND how much there still is to learn in life. I filmed videos everywhere we went; Italy, Paris, Amsterdam, London & Ireland and am planning on cutting some stuff together for sure.
Life is beautiful. It's a journey, and how you choose to live through that journey is what really matters. I plan on sharing things I am grateful for, moments of challenge and times of joy as well. La Vida es Sueno, and I plan on lucid dreaming throughout it all.
